Many people do have sensitivities to dairy. Thankfully you don’t have to be stuck with them.

A few days ago I made a fruit tart with 4 ingredients:
- Icelandic yogurt
- Oat groats
It was a big hit at our Easter gathering. Good foods can be so simple.
Basically, I just simmered one cup of oat groats with 2 dropperfuls of Wisdom of the Ancients brand clear liquid stevia and 2 cups of water for an hour.
This was the ‘crust’ and I spread it out in the bottom of a glass pie tin. Then I mixed 3 dropperfuls of stevia into 16 ounces of Siggi’s nonfat unsweetened Icelandic yogurt, spread this over the oats, and added sliced fruit.
After refrigerating for a few hours it was ready to go. You could also do with lo-han or xylitol if you don’t prefer stevia.
